Secure payment

Wedis Company takes the security of personal and financial data extremely seriously.

Encryption

Encryption refers to how data is sent over the internet, and whether it can be decoded by someone looking at that data. We use an SSL (Secure Socket Layer) Certificate to ensure that all your data is encrypted to secure your data. This is the same technology that banks use. It is estimated that a powerful computer would take 149,745,258,842,898 years to crack 128-bit encryption
On all pages that require secure transmission of data (for example, payment for a product) you will see https:// on the browser's address bar rather than the usual http://. This means that data is encrypted using SSL.

Storage of credit card details

Credit card numbers are never stored nor recorded on the Wedis Company servers. When a customer chooses to pay by credit card, the card details are sent directly to a bank over a secure encrypted internet connection, which is level 1 Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS) compliant. Wedis Company does not process the credit card directly, instead the bank's server tells our server whether the transaction succeeded or failed. This assures you have the highest level of security throughout the purchasing process.

Storage of identification data

Your customer's identification data, such as name, e-mail and shipping address, are stored on secure servers requiring authentication. Per our Privacy Policy these are not accessed nor shared with anyone unless we have their electronic consent.

PayPal

When a customer pays by PayPal, we pass them over to the PayPal website, and so we have no access to their financial information. When they complete their payment on PayPal's website, they are returned to our store.
